Bobby Green Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the Faith Village Church of Christ with visitation from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm before the service. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas.
He was born October 7, 1942 in Young County, TX to Erbie Harris and Katie Belle. Bobby worked as a Roustabout and a pumper in the oilfield for most of his life, as well as a mechanic.
He married Lydia Lorene Lane on July 30th 1962 and together had 6 children. Rickie Smith, Genie Blow, Bobby Green, Eddie Green, Mickey Green and Elizabeth Binyon. And 12 grandchildren, Lester, Angel, Misty, Jessica, Savannah, and Katie, Toby, Stephanie, Audrey, Joey, Justin and Kayla. Bobby also had the love of many, many great grandchildren. He was a very loving father, husband and friend.
Bobby was a member of Faith Village Church of Christ and considered many members of the church part of his family. He loved the Lord, his family and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Erbie and Katie Green, brother Eddie Harris Green, Wife Lydia Lorene, and son Bobby Ray Green Jr.
