Bobby Hobson Obituary

Mr. Hobson was preceded in death by his son Bart Hobson as well as his wife Sybil Hobson.
He is survived by his son Bryan Hobson, grandchildren Michael Hobson (Amber), Brianna Hobson Gates (Dustin), Amanda Hobson; six great-grandchildren; sister Judy Nall as well as brother David Hobson.
Bobby was born March 3, 1942, to the late David Louis Hobson and Mary Louise Hobson. He enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served his country faithfully as an Aviation Electrician. Bobby had a passion for music! He played in a band during his military service-time, often playing where he was stationed in places, as far away as New York! After his military service, he returned home to Tuscaloosa. Bobby made his civilian career working at B.F. Goodrich, where he worked until he was able to retire, after 30 years of service. In his time outside of work, Bobby loved Fishing, Golf, Classic Rock and Roll, playing chess and being a family man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all who knew him.

I grew up with Bobby around Springbrook as teenagers . Lots of good memories with Bobby and the kids in the neighborhood.

I had diner at Longhorn´s years ago with Bobby and Sybil. I remember them both as pleasant people and very well suited for each other. Bobby wasn´t complete without Sybil upon her passing and hope they are reunited now with Bobby´s passing. Please know the Family is in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
