Mr. Bobby G. Marsh, 84, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025, at PruittHealth Swainsboro. He was born February 20, 1941, in Swainsboro to Arlie Lee Marsh and Sara Rich Marsh. Bobby was a retired Army veteran. He loved the outdoors. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching old westerns. Bobby loved his dogs. He enjoyed listening to country music, McDonald’s sausage biscuits and cooking for his dogs. He also enjoyed watching children play. Bobby also enjoyed fiddling with something broken to try to fix it. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Billy Gene Marsh.
He is survived by his son, Bobby Joe Marsh (Tina) of Swainsboro; sister, Lucy Amerson of Swainsboro; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Hardin officiating.
Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at Chapman Funeral Home.
