Mr. Bobby Leonard Storey, age 85, beloved husband to Mrs. Frances Glover Storey, entered into rest on Friday April 4, 2025 at his home.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Jerry L. Storey (Tyronia), Gerald G. Storey, Wanda Storey Sanders (Tom); granddaughter, Madison Deloris Storey (John Redmond); and many others who he considered to be grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Hasten and Margaret Hodson Storey; and brother, Gerald Storey.
Mr. Storey worked for South Carolina Electric and Gas and retired at age 54. He enjoyed deer hunting in Girard, Ga. He spent many weeks at the hunting club doing what he loved best. He also enjoyed working in his garage where he liked to "tinker". Mr. Storey liked NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He spent time riding his golf cart and listening to his favorite music which included artist like: Marty Robins, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash. He also enjoyed his gospel music as he listed to Jimmy Swaggart and watched Son Life Broadcasting Network on Sundays. In his later years he enjoyed his puzzles. He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 3pm in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Hardee and Rev. George Webb officiating. The interment will follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening April 7, 2025 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Casey Richardson, Buddy Patterson, Kirby Scott, John Hodson, Eddie Hodson and Tony Nappier.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to In Home Health Nurse Marie Yates and her staff for the their excellent care of Mr. Storey.
