Bobby Lee Terry, age 79, of Rison, Arkansas passed away at his home on February 8, 2025. Bobby was born September 14, 1945 in Cleveland County to the late Virgil and Freda Dixon Terry. He was a 1963 graduate of Woodlawn High School and retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 40 years of service. Bobby had a passion for baseball and softball, having played with the McKinney's AG baseball team and later playing softball. He coached his wife's, both his daughters' and his granddaughter's team. He also helped coach his grandson's baseball team and enjoyed watching Razorback baseball. He loved watching any activity his grandchildren were involved in, and he loved to play golf. Bobby Was a member of Rison Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James and Havis Terry; two sisters, Bonnie Coats and Betty Wooley. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nora Word Terry; two daughters, Kristy (Brian) Lowery of Rison and Mona Terry of Maumelle; two grandchildren, Jackson (Summer) Lowery and Jessica (Ethan) Adams.
Pallbearers will be Benny Dixon, Donald Cope, Jackson Lowery, Ethan Adams, Randy Morgan and Brian Lowery.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Buie & Cole Funeral Home in Rison. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Varnell Cemetery.
