Bobby Joe Wilson

Bobby Joe Wilson, age 85, of Sweetwater, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the American Legion Post 106, the Sweetwater V.F.W. Gold Star Post 5156. He was a member of the Sweetwater Masonic Lodge 292. Retired from Vestal Manufacturing in Sweetwater. Preceded in death by his parents: Oliver and Josie Wilson, brothers: Kenneth, Raymond, Marvin, and Eugene "Doodle" Wilson, sisters: Louise Rogers, Mary Cathcart. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law: Angela and Lawrence "Bubba" Cooper, of Madisonville, grandchildren: Heather Niccole Moser, Chelsie Lyanne Cooper, Elisha Fadeley, Lawrence Brian Cooper, James Clayton Cooper, 9 great-grandchildren, nephews: Mike Wilson, Vance Bivens, Kenneth Wilson, niece: Carol Ann Akins, great-niece: Megan Wilson Russell and several others. Special care giver: Kimmy Winkler. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5:00 P.M. until 6:45 P.M. with a Masonic Rites provided by member's of the Sweetwater Masonic Lodge, funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. Ivey Smith officiating. Interment with full military honors 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
