Mrs. Bonnie Elizabeth Stegent Allen

October 11, 1953 – August 14, 2025

Mrs. Bonnie Elizabeth Stegent Allen, 71, passed away August 14, 2025. She was born October 11, 1953, daughter of Martin Max Stegent and Patsy Ruth (Stegent) Prosise.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Neil Allen, her son, Neil Douglas Allen and her mother, Patsy Ruth (Stegent) Prosise.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Kelly Allen, her brother, Martin Stegent and sisters, Kay (Aune) Pudifin and Pam Stegent.

Bonnie's faith in Christ, her love of family, friends, and generous spirit are hallmarks of her life. Those who truly knew her never doubted her loyalty and devotion.

Bonnie married Jerry Neil Allen on February 3, 1973. Together, they had two children, Neil and Kelly and embarked on a 43-year journey which touched the lives of many.

Bonnie grew up with especially close relationships with her sisters and brother, a bond that was never broken and continues on. She loved her family fiercely and had many treasured and dear friends.

Bonnie was a dedicated wife and mother, finding work later in life with various substitute teaching positions and working in the educational food service industry at Tomball I.S.D. Here is where she met a group of lifelong friends, affectionately known as the "Ya Ya's".

Bonnie found her religious home in Sawdust Road Baptist Church (Spring, Texas) and Bethel Baptist Church (Pinehurst, Texas). Health issues may have hampered her attendance over time, but her faith in God never wavered.

Bonnie donated to various local and international charities such as: T.E.A.M. (Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries), Samaritan's Purse and Star of Hope.

Bonnie's mark on the world will continue through her many beloved family members and friends.

Special thanks from the Family to Dr. Jose L. Ramos with VITAS Healthcare, the medical staff at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball, Elite Home Health and Northwest Assistance Ministries Meals on Wheels.
