Bonnie Heezen, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025.

She was the rock of her family, guiding it with a steady hand and unwavering love. Bonnie's warmth, wisdom, and genuine spirit touched countless lives, leaving a legacy that will shine forever. Born on July 25, 1946, in Wausau, WI, Bonnie dedicated much of her life to teaching English and inspiring students with her passion for literature.

Bonnie's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, from the historic cities of Europe to her beloved second home in Florida. Bonnie raised three sons-Brent (Kelly), Bryson (Katie), and Geoff (Jennifer). Bonnie was a devoted grandmother to Nathan, Emily, and Kadence (Brent and Kelly's children), Elijah and Adah (Bryson and Katie's children), and furry grandpup Britannia (Geoff and Jennifer's beloved dog).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Heezen; her parents, Karl & Winnifred Weinkauf; son, Lawrence Jr.

A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at Pfotenhauer Funeral Home Howard-Suamico, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with a mass at St. John the Baptist at 2:30pm
