Bonnie K. Koke

Bonnie Kaye Koke, 77, of Hiawassee, Georgia, formerly of Havana, passed away at her home at 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born on August 21, 1947 in LaSalle, Illinois to Frank Eugene and Hattie Virginia (Graves) Chamberlain. She married Clifford Schrock on October 4, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1983. She later married Doug Koke on October 27, 1984 in Havana.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Doug Koke of Hiawassee, Georgia; nieces, Erin Reed of Peoria, Lori Ann Lauderbach of Cherokee, Alabama, and Tracy Belew of Cherokee, Alabama; step-daughter, Lori (Jim) Short of North Liberty, Iowa; and step-granddaughter, Kenna Short of North Liberty, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Clifford, and sister, Linda Lee Bevis.
A private graveside service will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Rev. Tim Lindsay will officiate.
