Bonnie Lee Nally

A Bardstown resident, Mrs. Bonnie Lee Nally, age 59, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born June 14, 1965 in Bardstown to the late Jerome and Shirley Ann Karr Brinner. Bonnie worked in housekeeping at Bardstown City Schools where she touched a lot of children's hearts and was loved by everyone. She was the best mother, nana and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Willie" Nally, Jr. and a half-brother, James Stephen Brinner. She is survived by her fiancé, Joe Hutchins, 3 daughters, Sarah (Ryan) Walls of New Haven, Crystal Nally, Melissa Hood (Patrick Clark) both of Bardstown, 2 brothers, Gary Shain, Ricky (Rita) Shain, both of Bardstown, 6 sisters, Debbie (Austin) Mattingly, Gail (Charlie) Mudd, Marylin Price, Laurie Jones, all of Bardstown, Pam (Jude) Nally of New Haven, Sandy (Wesley) Yates of Bloomfield, and 6 grandchildren, Blake Nally, Logan Walls, Caleb Clark, Landon Hood, Olivia Wilson and Victoria Walls. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Lee Nally will be 11:00 am Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown. Bro. Randy Buckles will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 pm and Thursday after 8:30 am until time of funeral service. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
