Bonnie Louise Poulson Clark
October 12, 1929 ~ May 6, 2022
OGDEN–Bonnie Louise Poulson Clark, 92, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 6, 2022, in her home with her loving family around her. She was born October 12, 1929, in Ephraim, Utah, the oldest daughter of Lawrence Royal Poulson and Marcell Josephine (Peterson) Poulson. Bonnie graduated from Ephraim High School in 1946 and attended Snow College.
She married F. Dean Clark from Malad, Idaho, on October 29, 1948. They were sealed in the Manti Temple on October 28, 1995.
Bonnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many positions. She loved working with the youth the most. She and her husband Dean served as workers in the Ogden Temple. She also received the Silver Beaver Award for her many years of service in the scouting program. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP). She worked at the Internal Revenue Service for 25 years.
Above all else, Bonnie loved spending time with her precious family. She was a very dedicated wife and mother and enjoyed helping others. She was such a little fireball and could outwork people much younger than her and then turn around and give them fresh baked cookies.
She also loved to read, her favorite book was the Book of Mormon. She helped the LDS Genealogy Department index the 1940 Census and she loved every minute of it. She loved to watch Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Do You Want to be a Millionaire, and Judge Judy. Her favorite movie was Miracle on 34th Street and watched it every Christmas. She was a big fan of the Utah Jazz and Denver Broncos.
She played the piano and organ and would often accompany her sister and Dad when they sang in church. Mom would always say "do your best at whatever you try to do," "getting old isn't for sissies," "life goes on" and "this too shall pass." She was talented beyond compare and such a precious gift to everyone that her life touched.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Keith and Junior; sister, Marilyn; grandson, Bryce; granddaughter, Bonnie; granddaughter-in-law, Olivia; and daughter-in-law, Patsy.
