Salamanca, NY-
Bonnie S. Taylor, 75, of 8013 Old Route 17, Jimersontown, Town of Salamanca, passed away Thursday (August 7, 2025) in the Olean General Hospital Emergency Department.
She was born April 15, 1950 in Salamanca, the daughter of the late Johnson Jimerson and Beulah L. Taylor. Bonnie was a graduate of Salamanca High School and retired from being a private home health care nurse.
She was a member of the bear clan and was a descendant of the Seneca Nation. Bonnie was a member of God's Missionary Church in Jimersontown and was a dear friend of the Amish, especially Dan and Sarah Raber of Conewango. She was an avid reader, was known for always helping others in need. She liked watching her shows and driving around listening to music.
She is survived by a son; JD of Salamanca, two daughters; Kelli Taylor of Salamanca and Tonya Barreno of Gowanda, 10 grandchildren, 14 grandchildren, a brother; Dr. Robert Robinson, Charleston, SC, a sister; Mary Lou Stidd of Mt. Jewett, PA, as well as special sisters; Diane Bixler and Brenda Kindt.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, twins brothers; Ronald Taylor and Donald Taylor and a sister; Sandra Maybee.
The family will receive relatives and friends in the family home 8013 Old Route 17 on Sunday after 2:00 PM and all day Monday. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the family home. Burial will follow in the Taylor Family Cemetery, Jimersontown. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.
