Bozena Zygmunt

Bozena Zygmunt of Whippany, New Jersey, fought valiantly against the lung cancer that finally took her last breath on October 9, 2025. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother who loved sports and the great outdoors. Born in Poland to Lucyna and Kazimierz Florczuk on May 4, 1957, with two young children, she and her husband, Leszek, traversed the Atlantic to a completely new country and continent where neither spoke the language. Through her resilience and determination to create a better life for her family, she worked tirelessly to achieve more, where she ultimately owned a successful cleaning business. She leaves behind her husband, Leszek, children, Justyna and Adam and his wife Krista, and her grandchildren, Izabela, Sophia, Serena, and Delaney. A mass to celebrate her life will take place at 11 am on Monday, October 13 at St. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, 215 Hill Street, Boonton with an opportunity to pay respects from 10am -11 am.
