Brad Bisk Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McMurrough Funeral Chapel - Libertyville on May 26, 2025.
Brad Bisk, 84, of Libertyville, a beloved voice over actor whose iconic tones graced the airwaves and captivated audiences for over five decades, passed away on December 4, 2024. He was a proud graduate of Kelly High School on the south side of Chicago. He was a familiar presence in Chicago homes, lending his distinctive voice to WLS, WGN, and NBC5, also providing many voices for the Melikin Puppets, as well as national campaigns like the unforgettable Mr. Clean commercials.
Though his voice was instantly recognizable to millions, Brad remained remarkably humble about his accomplishments. He was a consummate professional always striving for excellence but never seeking the spotlight. He is remembered for his great humor and ability to make anyone laugh. He cherished putting a smile on people's faces.
Brad is survived by the love of his life, wife of 65 years, Jane, which all began with a blind date; his dearest daughter April (Tim) Connaughty and her children Kaylie (Joey) and Kyle; his grandchildren Taylor and Austin from his late son Ellory; and his dear brother Mel (the late LaVerne) Biske. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son and his sister Barb (the late Jim) Sidlauskas. While his voice may be silenced, his legacy will live on in the countless hearts he touched and the indelible mark he left on the broadcasting world. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and the countless listeners who welcomed his voice into their lives. Private funeral services by McMurrough Funeral Chapel (847) 362-2626.
