William Bradley “Brad” Higgins passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at his residence. Brad was born in Surry County on January 15, 1979, to Kathy Higgins Ford.
A Surry Central High School attendee who later earned his GED, Bradley spent many years running his own carpentry business, Higgins Construction. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Higgins Ford, and grandparents Lee & Opal Higgins.
Bradley is survived by three aunts, one uncle, several cousins, and two beloved dogs, Zeus and Apollo. He enjoyed playing bass guitar, riverside outings, concerts, cornhole, driving to new places, and cheering for the Panthers.
The family extends special thanks to Tommie Jane Mendenhall, Nick Minton, Brooke Strother, and other supportive friends throughout his cancer journey.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, 2:00 p.m. December 13, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Jonesville with Dr. Roger Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
