Brad Miller Obituary

Brad A. Miller

June 1, 1970 - February 27, 2025

Bradley Alan Miller, age 54, of Mattoon, IL, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Kirby Medical Center in Monticello.

Funeral services honoring his life will take place at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Family Worship Center, 5475 Lerna Rd. in Mattoon, with Pastor Brad Brown, Pastor Josh Butler, and Pastor Jeremy Morton officiating. Burial will follow at Dodge Grove Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 until 8 p.m., on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Family Worship Center. Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Brad was born on June 1, 1970 in Mattoon, IL, the son of Daniel Miller and Carole (Thompson) Burke. He married Angela Jo Watts on May 26, 2012.

Survivors include his wife, Angie Miller of Mattoon, IL; children: Brody (Jadi Hetzel) Miller, Eden Miller (Blake Gvillo), Axylle Miller, and Joveigh Miller; parents: Carole (Mike) Burke and Daniel (Janet) Miller; siblings: Michael Burke of Toluca, IL, John (Kellie) Burke of Titusville, FL, Ryann (Jeff) Markus of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Paige (Jeffrey) Nowland of Waltonville, IL; in-laws: Bonnie Kinney and Jay (Linda) Watts; sister-in-law, Jayme Watts; brother-in-law, Scott Kinney; beloved dog, Dozer Blaze; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Brad was preceded in death by several grandparents; cousins: Angie and Jason; nephew, Ryan; aunt, Joyce; and beloved canine companion, Titan.

Brad was a man of God, a perfect example of loving and living like Jesus. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend to many. He was the type of friend who was always there and loved by all. Brad had a bubbly personality and a contagious laugh; he was fun, caring, thoughtful, and he didn't know a stranger. He enjoyed hunting and welding with his son, Axylle, riding dirt bikes with all his kids, and attending the father/daughter dance with his daughter, Joveigh. Brad could fix anything and knew how to do everything. Brad loved supporting his children by going to games and cheering them on. There is no doubt that Brad is in heaven singing in a choir with the angels. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.schillingfuneralhome.net or Schilling Funeral Home's Facebook page.
