Bradford Kean Davis January 14, 1945 – March 17, 2022
"Brad" leaves his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Jean (Patterson) Davis, as well as their son, Graeme Davis, his wife, Stephanie, their daughter, Keelin and son, Rowan. Son, Hilary Davis, his wife, Katherine, their daughter, Meredith, son, Colby, and daughter, Charlotte. Daughter, Andrea Bowler, her husband, Kevan, their sons, Donovan and Brodie. Daughter, Elizabeth Sullivan, her husband, Brian, and their sons, James and Henry.
Brad was a graduate of Williams College and received a Master's in Anthropology from Brown University. He dedicated a 40-year career to progressive high school education at the Buxton School where he served as a teacher, administrator, coach, and mentor. His passion and dedication to the education, growth and well-being of his students became the basis for many lifelong friendships.
Brad enjoyed gardening, music, sailing, sketching, and traveling to Europe. Many class trips that he planned allowed him to bond with students while sharing his love of art history. His beloved dogs, cats and even a pet goose, brought him great joy.
Brad was born in Boston to Helen Johnson Davis and Robert Kean Davis. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Martha. Brad is survived by his sister, Barbara, her husband, George and their son and daughter, Benjamin and Abigail.
A celebration of Brad's life will be planned at a later date.
