Cynthia A. Sheehan

Cynthia A. Sheehan, 58, of North Falmouth, formerly of New Lenox, IL, was born Sept 9, 1966 and passed away unexpectedly at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston on August 21, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Sheehan, loving mother of Stephanie Moulton and daughter of Philip and Lou Ann Piket.

Cindy received her degree in Culinary Arts from Joliet Junior College. She worked as an executive pastry chef for Westin Hotel Rosemont for many years.

Cindy loved to cook and was known for her chocolate designs and life size gingerbread houses.

Cindy created award winning cakes for celebrities including 2 birthday cakes for Hilary Clinton.

She created a 2000lb cheesecake covered in edible gold for Mayor Daley's millennial party at McCormick Place. A crane was needed to put in place.

She continued her career as a pastry chef for Unifine Dohler, famous for their German pastry ingredients. She ultimately became Vice President of sales for Schokinag Chocolate and Vice President of Sales for Galaxy Desserts

Cindy had a passion for cooking and always made large enough portions to feed family, friends and neighbors. No one missed a holiday at her house.

She lived life to the fullest with great enthusiasm. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved living on Cape Cod, enjoyed the beaches and life out on the boat. The Caribbean was her favorite place on earth and she hoped to retire there.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, neice, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her husband Daniel, Cindy is survived by her daughter Stephanie Moulton (Jones) and husband Connor of Austin TX, her stepdaughter Kesley Sheehan and stepson Danny Sheehan of North Falmouth, her grandmother Louise Forsleff, her parents, her sisters Melinda, Jennifer, Jenny, brother Jim, and many nieces and nephews.

A committal service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 1:00pm.
