Dr. Bradley Lee Allen was born April 20, 1937 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Clifford Wallace and Edna Lucille (Henry) Allen. He met his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, December 17, between 8:00A.M. and 7:00P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 18, at 2:00P.M. at First Baptist Church-Duncan with his friend, Yancy Spivey, officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Lance Allen, Joseph Allen, Samuel Allen, Andrew Allen, Taggart Allen, and Kirby Kelly; honorary pallbearers are Steve Stout, Dan Young, Bruce Cox, Pete Boles, Jerry Stowers, Floyd Wininger, and Miguel Ramirez. Interment will follow at Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
As a young child, Brad met his new best friend, Nancy Wright, when her family moved to western Oklahoma, near Elk City. They grew up together on farms near each other. Brad graduated from Highway High School, Oklahoma Baptist University where he received an AB degree, Southwestern Baptist Seminary receiving a Masters of Divinity, and Luther Rice Seminary receiving a Doctorate of Ministry.
Brad and Nancy were married in 1957 and were married for 65 years. They became proud parents of 3 sons - Randy, David and Dan; proud grandparents of 5, and great-grandparents of 6.
Brad was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, preaching the Word of God. He was the former pastor of Ural Baptist Church-Elk City, OK, First Baptist Church-Adamsville, TX, First Baptist Church-Carter, OK, First Baptist Church-Sentinel, OK, Central Baptist Church-Lawton, OK, First Baptist Church-Duncan, OK, and most recently at Countryside Baptist Church-Comanche. His hobbies included golfing, yard work, reading and writing.
Brad is survived by his sons and their spouses: Randy and Dawn Allen of Lindsay, David and Heather Allen of Duncan, Dan and Shannon Allen of Bixby; grandchildren: Lance and Keeley Allen, Joseph and Magen Allen, Samuel Allen, Andrew Allen, and Taggart and Lindley Allen; and great-grandchildren: Bradlei, Brantlei, Weston, Chase, Lyla, and Sienna Allen. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Myra Allen; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Allen; granddaughter, Amber Allen; daughter-in-law, Janna Allen; and brother, Glynn Allen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Amber Dawn Allen Memorial Scholarship at Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee.

Rev. Brad Allen baptized me in Carter, Oklahoma when I was 16 years old. This past year I was able to visited with him often on the phone and watch him preach on TV at Countryside Church.
Truly a man of God!!! He was a blessing in my life.
