Bradley R. Block

Major Bradley 'Buster' Block, 82, of Elderon, died on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at his home.
Buster was born on June 8, 1943, in Shawano, the son of Raymond and Mildred (Pukall) Block.
On May 23, 1971, Buster was united in marriage to Arla Jacobson at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. She preceded him in death on October 18, 2022.
Buster was a very proud Unites States Army Veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was also stationed in Germany and Korea throughout his years of service and was a ROTC instructor at St. Norbert's College. After retiring from the Army, he worked at a couple of group homes, helping troubled youth. Buster enjoyed hunting, fishing and skiing.
Buster is survived by his sister, Cynthia (John) Young; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jean (David Nelson) Jacobson, Alan Jacobson, James (Jane) Jacobson, Charles Jacobson, John (Lynn) Jacobson and Glenn (Karen) Jacobson; cousins, Wayne (Linda) Block, Jim Block, David (Karla) Block, Dan (Lisa) Block, Matt (Susan) Block; nieces and nephews, Nathan (Audrey) Jacobson, Jared Jacobson, Matt Jacobson, Leah (Mike) Centanne, Jessica (Ivan Welander) McGauley-Jacobson, John McGauley-Jacobson, Angela (Justin) Bembenek, Hanna (Paul) Van Den Heuvel, Carly (Zach Holden) Nelson, And Jacob Nelson; and many other cousins and relatives.
Buster was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one nephew, Nels Jacobson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Elderon Memorial Post #8068, VFW. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church.
