Bradley Bowling, Jr., a cherished member of his community and a beloved family man, passed away on December 17, 2024, at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on October 27, 1950, in Oneida, Kentucky.
Bradley enjoyed a fulfilling career as a retired coal miner and proudly served his country as a U.S. Veteran in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps. His commitment to his work and country was matched only by his dedication to his family. He held an associate degree, demonstrating his value for education alongside his extensive practical knowledge gained throughout his life.
Above all, Bradley cherished the time he spent with his family. His wife, Mollie Bowling, whom he married on July 8, 1978, was his steadfast partner in life. Together, they raised three children: Levi Bowling of Oneida, KY, Burchell Bowling of London, KY, and Rhonda Young (Timothy) of Buckhorn, KY. He was also a proud grandfather to Nicholas Hensley, creating lasting memories together. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Mary Webb (Harvey Gene) of Manchester, KY, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
Bradley had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in fishing and camping, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting bonds with his loved ones. His friendly demeanor and kind spirit endeared him to many, leaving a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bradley Bowling, Sr. and Martha Bowling, along with his son, Paul "Peanut" Bowling and brothers, Rufus Gibson and Eddie Wayne Gibson.
As we remember the remarkable life of Bradley Bowling, Jr., we honor his legacy of love, service, and dedication to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
