Bradley Michael Cunningham Jr. Beloved father and son was called to eternal rest on December 7, 2024.
Bradley was born in Jersey City on January 31, 1983, to Bradley Sr. and Andrée Devon (nee Milsap)
Cunningham.
Bradley was educated within the Archdiocese of Newark's Hudson County Catholic School System and
graduated from Hudson Catholic High School in Jersey City with a GPA of 3.75 prompting many recruiting
opportunities from several Ivy league institutions.
He was a standout athlete and earned first team All-County Laurels as both linebacker and running back as a
senior in 2001 Bradley was named the HCIAA American Conference Back of the Year after he ran for 1,047 yards and
thirteen touchdowns during his final scholastic season. He was All-State in track and field shot put and earned
Player of the Year, team MVP, and Hudson County Linebacker of the Year. Bradley was inducted into Hudson
Catholic's Hall of Fame. Bradley was a member of Rutger's first recruiting class and laid the foundation of their football program, helping the team to its second bowl game in program history when they faced Arizona State in 2005. That
year, Bradley was presented with the Kevin and Helen Collins Academic Improvement Award, given to the
student-athlete on the football team who exhibited the greatest academic improvement.
Bradley graduated from Rutger's University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree of Science in Criminal Justice and
Law Enforcement Administration.
With a distinguished career spanning over 17 years, Bradley was a highly skilled international shipping
professional. He honed his expertise in claims management at Cosco Container Lines America for 11 years
and later took on a leadership role as Claims and Risk Manager at Yang Ming American.
As a founding member of the NJ Knights Elite Youth Football Organization, Bradley helped shape the future of
young football players. He also contributed to Hudson Catholic's Football Program as an Assistant Varsity
Coach.
Brad's legacy extends far beyond the football field. His infectious smile and gentle spirit, coupled with his
dedication to mentoring young athletes, will be remembered for years to come.
Brad aka Henney led the Wild Aces Motorcycle Club with passion and purpose. Beyond the thrill of riding, he
dedicated himself to serving the community through the club's charitable initiatives.
Bradley was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Cunningham and maternal
grandmother Rita Mae Price Milsap.
Bradley lived life to the fullest, cherishing his family and friends, and especially his daughter, Ariyana Joy, who
is his greatest treasure. Bradley leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Andrée Devon Milsap, father,
Bradley Cunningham Sr (Magdelena), daughter, Ariyana Joy, stepbrothers Dominick (Marina), Richard and
Nicolas Linker and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, The Milsap's, Price's, RoHosky's, Lisle and LaRoche
families. Bradley was deeply connected to his best friend, Rob Norton, and his extended family, Bessie
Coleman, Jean Johnson, Yvonne Melvin, and William Clarritt
While our hearts grieve, we take solace in the profound impact Brad made during his time with us. He was a
pillar of strength, a coach, a mentor, a teammate, a son, a father, and a friend. May his memory live on in the
lessons he imparted and the love he shared
Rest in peace, Brad. You will be missed but never forgotten.
