Edward Cisiewicz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenville Memorial Home on Oct. 15, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Edward Stanley Cisiewicz, affectionately known as Eddie, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 78 years old.
Born on December 15, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Eddie was a lifelong resident of the community he loved. After proudly serving four years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, Eddie returned home to build a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and love for his family.
For 27 years, Eddie worked as a tax accountant for Credit Suisse, where his sharp mind and quiet dependability earned him lasting respect among his colleagues. Outside of work, he found peace in nature as an avid deer hunter, a pastime that reflected his patience and appreciation for the outdoors.
Eddie's greatest pride, however, was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marcia; his devoted son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Meghan; his loving daughter, Susan; and his cherished grandchildren, Madeleine and Matthew, who brought endless joy to his later years.
Eddie will be remembered for his steadfastness, dry wit, and the unshakable integrity with which he lived his life. His presence will be deeply missed but forever felt in the hearts of those who loved him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum in North Arlington.
