In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Mother and Grandmother
"Life is beautiful," she would often say during our long, wise conversations-and she truly lived by those words.
Born in San Fernando, Province of Azuay, Ecuador, she dedicated her life to being a rural school teacher, shaping not only young minds but the hearts of everyone who crossed her path. Her life was a constant lesson in love, faith, and resilience.
Together with her beloved husband, who has since passed, she raised eight children with strength, sacrifice, and endless devotion-Norma, Nancy, Lady, Nora, Alicia, Pedro, Miriam, and Jimmy. She believed deeply in education and in the power of perseverance, always saying, "My children must study, no matter what it takes. I have the strength, and we will make it." And she did. Through her determination, she built a family grounded in values, compassion, and unity.
Life brought both blessings and heartache. She endured the unbearable loss of her eldest daughter, yet even through that sorrow, she remained a pillar of faith and love for her family. Her heart held more patience than most, her words carried wisdom, and her embrace felt like home.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy-her eight loving children, countless grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will carry her lessons forward. She also reunites now with her husband and loved ones who went before her, resting together in eternal peace.
We will remember her laughter, her strength, her quiet wisdom, and her words that will forever echo in our hearts: "Forgive one another-you are family."
Thank you, Mother, for the love you gave so freely and the example you set so gracefully. Your bendición will guide and protect us all the days of our lives.
