Funeral services for Bradley Johnson, 54-year-old Banner, Wyoming resident who passed away suddenly at his home Tuesday evening will be held Sunday, February 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Buffalo with Pastor Audrey Manyonga officiating. Interment will be in Quiet Rest Cemetery in Banner on Monday, February 2nd at 10:00 a.m. with the American Legion and VFW in charge of military graveside honors. Bradley Theron Johnson was born on October 2nd, 1971, in Bountiful, Utah to Robert and Shirlee Johnson. He grew up and went to school in Bountiful and graduated from Bountiful High School with the class of 1989. After high school he joined the U.S. Navy and served for seven years in Norfolk, Virginia. He was honorably discharged from the Navy and enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served for eight years until he received a medical discharge. He was married in 1991 to Cherie Taysom, and they made their home in Bountiful, Virginia Beach and various places in the U.S. and abroad with the Navy and Marine Corps. Following a divorce, he was later married to Elizabeth Eckert on October 25, 2019, in McPherson, Kansas and they made their home in Banner, Wyoming. As a disabled Vet Brad continued living in Banner until his death.

Brad was a member of the United Methodist Church. He had a green thumb, enjoyed gardening and spending time in the mountains camping and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his passion was his grandchildren. Brad will be sorely missed and will forever be in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Banner; two sons Brennan Johnson and his wife Mercy of Sandy, Utah and Dakota Johnson and his wife Marie of St. George, Utah; one daughter Savannah Johnson of Hurricane, Utah; one step-son Jaison Eckert and his wife Jolee of Topeka, Kansas; two step-daughters, April Wolters and her husband Danny of Phoenix, Arizona and Ivy Eckert of Topeka; two brothers Matthew Johnson and his wife Suzanne of Utah, and Nathan Johnson and his wife Sunny of Rigby, Idaho; one sister Jolene Snyder and her husband Bill of Bountiful, Utah and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Rick Johnson.
