I am so sorry to hear of Brad's passing. He was an advocate for the CHS Band Program by helping students adjust their schedules in such a way that kept them enrolled in band. If he couldn't, he was able to get a study hall into their schedule in order for them to take the independent study band class. Another thing I will remember (besides him being a graduate of Pekin HS two years before me) is that most conversations with him ended up with a " Have you heard this one? or "I got a joke for you."
