During Brad's courageous journey with lung cancer, we shared some of the most beautiful and unforgettable moments of my life. For seven precious months, we laughed until we cried, and cried until we laughed again. Though 11 years stood between us in age, our hearts beat in harmony-we connected in ways that only siblings can.
Brad had a special way of showing love, and for me, it came in the form of a nickname: *Bri*. I teased him often about how much I disliked it, but he never stopped using it. Now, I treasure it. It was his gift to me-a little thread that tied us together in the story of our lives.
Brad is a child of God, and I take comfort in knowing he is now celebrating in heaven, surrounded by the warmth of Mom, Grandma, and our beloved Amy Joy. I can almost hear his laughter echoing through eternity.
Until we meet again, baby brother-save me a seat at the table. I´ll miss you every day, but I look forward to the day we laugh together once more.
With all my love,
Bri

Brad brought me laughter over the years. The way he always asked for a hug every time I would see him was very sweet. The way he loved on my family every time he was with them or spoke with them was just a testament to the person he was at heart. I will miss hearing his deep laugh but I know he is with Jesus and the loved ones that have passed before him. He is rejoicing in Heaven. Though we are sad we will not see him here, it was not goodbye. Just see you again one day.

Brad was just a kind soul. I will miss him. We had a great connection in the few short years I knew him. Fly high Brother. You won't be forgotten.
