Reverend Pierce was born on September 6, 1936 and passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Reverend Pierce was a resident of Cromwell, Connecticut at the time of passing. He was ordained to the priesthood on September 8th, 1983, serving for many years as Formation Director of Holy Apostles College and Seminary and Spiritual Director of the Mary Heart Crusaders in Meriden, Ct. Viewing will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Friday, January 11, at the Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Queen of the Apostles Chapel, 33 Prospect Hill Road, Cromwell, CT 06416 with a prayer service to follow.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the chapel at 11:00 Saturday morning. Interment will be private at a later date. Memorial donations in honor of Father Pierce made be sent to: Missionaries of the Holy Apostles Scholarship Fund, 22 Prospect Hill Road, Cromwell, Ct. 06416.

I didn't know Fr. Brad had passed. He was a very kind and thoughtful man and very good priest.

It was only minutes ago that, while researching old classmates from Holy Apostles College (1975-77), I learned that Brad had passed. What I remember about him most was that, like myself, he was a great fan of the New York Yankees. We even attended a game together in the old Yankee Stadium. He became very intense when the score was close, a true fan. I will always regret that I never knew him as a priest, but I have not the slightest scintilla of doubt, he was a holy man. I'm going to miss you, Brad. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Father Brad was truly a blessed man. He took such joy in Christ's Love. He shone that light on all who knew him.
I will always remember the great joy and love he showed toward our daughter, Sarah, when she was a babe in arms and beyond. Today, when we found out about Father Brad's passing, my now 5 year old daughter ran and got a tiny teddy bear Father Brad had given her; she knelt in prayer and asked, "Jesus be with Father Brad in Heaven."
No doubt that prayer was answered.
God be with you always, old friend.

God abundantly blessed and graced my life by knowing Fr Brad. He was my spiritual director since the early nineties and the best of friends....but I suspect he made us all feel that way.

I was so in the dark how far away I was from God when I was first began spiritual direction.

One day Fr Brad introduced me to someone I didn't know in his own unique way....

this is Lori....and giggled... she used to be a real pagan. I was horrified and wanted to dissolve into the air... I was so embarrassed. Now I laugh and think... truer words were never said.

I know I will never meet another priest like Fr Brad ....He was a gift to us all....and I feel so blessed to have know him at all.

I will forever remember you at Maryheart saying mass with such joy.

Now you are with the one who gives eternal joy.

May God bless you Fr Brad and have a beautiful day for all eternity.

Father Brad was a very special priest and I talked to him many times after mass at Maryheart. He has helped my family while going through a difficult period in our lives. I will be forever grateful for his understanding and his kind words of wisdom. I'm sure that he will be welcomed into the kingdom of God with open arms.

You saved my life, and more importantly, my soul. From prodigal daughter, you affectionately called me your little reprobate, and we would have a laugh. From the despair of attempted suicide, and other troubles, you spared nothing. I cannot now imagine a world in which you are not a part, but I am filled with bittersweet joy knowing the heaven you longed for is now within your grasp. Pray for us all. You are a saint, Father Brad.
