Bradley (Brad) Allen Warren, 60, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, after suffering a stroke the previous week. Brad was born on August 26, 1964 in La Grande, Oregon, to Diane (Davis) Weatherspoon and John Warren. He was raised in Elgin, Oregon where he played football, wrestled, competed in rodeos, and raised livestock through 4-H and FFA. After graduating from Elgin High School, he attended Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon, earning a degree in Equestrian Studies while participating in the rodeo club. In 1988, Brad married Danielle Gedrose. They settled in
Bend, Oregon, and went on to welcome their son, Justin Daniel (JD), in 1993, and daughter, Natalie, in 1995. Brad was a hands-on father, supporting his children's activities by coaching JD's football teams and Natalie's basketball teams. He also served as a leader of the Deschutes County 4-H Trap Shooting Club and was always encouraging of his kids and their many friends. Brad was the founder and owner of Brad Warren Construction, a business he began prior to having his children and formally incorporated in 2003. Through his company, he built and renovated homes across Central Oregon, earning a reputation for craftsmanship, dedication, and a strong work ethic. His business thrived on word of mouth-fueled by satisfied clients who trusted him and readily recommended him to others. Life brought changes, and in 2014 Brad met Rene Schwab. They married in 2018, blending their families and beginning a new chapter together. Brad and Rene shared many grand adventures-she introduced him to the Black Powder Rendezvous she hosted each year, and he taught her how to hunt and fish. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and connection. Brad was known for his rough exterior that would quickly melt away revealing a big personality, contagious laugh, warm presence and a hug that could cure all-he could talk your ear off if you let him, and many people often did. He built a life rich with friendships, laughter, and stories. Brad is survived by his mother and stepfather, Diane and Sonny Weatherspoon; his beloved wife, Rene Schwab; his children, JD and Lauren Warren, and Natalie and Cy Smith; his grandsons, Dawson and Warren Smith, and the many siblings from the blended families he was raised with. In addition, he leaves behind Rene's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren-whom he loved as his own-as well as a large extended family of relatives and lifelong friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
