Bradley A. Wibbels, 34, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
He was born April 30, 1989, in Louisville, a son to Tangela Bailey Wernert and the late Gerald D. Wibbels, Sr.
Brad was a graduate of Trinity High School and was a warehouse manager for Armstrong Relocation. He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his grandfather, Jacob Wibbels and a niece who he adored, Emery Wernert.
Brad is survived by his mother and step-father, Tangela Bailey Wernert and her husband, Jeff Wernert; sister, Jillian Wibbels (Tyler); two step-brothers, Jeffrey Wernert, Jr. (Kristen), and Michael Wernert (Emma); maternal grandparents, Jim and Barbara Bailey; nieces, Sawyer, Addison, Francis, and Pearl; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brad loved spending his weekends with his family and being playmate to his niece, Sawyer.
Brad's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday, March 2, 2024, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 St. Bernadette Avenue, Prospect, followed by burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of Mass 11 am at the church. Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, has been entrusted with arrangements.
Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3511 Rudd Avenue, Louisville, KY 40212, or GRRAND: Golden Retriever Rescue & Adoption of Needy Dogs, 7924 Vine Crest Avenue, Lyndon, KY 40222.
