Brahanie Joseph Hunt

Brahanie Joseph Hunt was born to his parents Loretta L. Hunt and the late Ronald Adams Sr. on April 18, 1985. He departed this life at the age of 39 on March 8, 2025.
Brahanie was a longtime resident of New Orleans, LA where he attended O. Perry Walker High School and participated in JROTC. He then joined the US Army. Throughout his years, Brahanie was employed by several companies including Crossroads LA Inc. He later went on to pursue a career as an independent adjuster. Brahanie found joy in traveling the world. He loved to visit different countries collecting stamps inside his passport book.
Brahanie leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Loretta (Leland, Sr.) Hunt; brothers Reginald Hunt, Harold Hunt, Stephen Hunt, Ronald Adams, Jr., Noble Ruffin, Leland Smith, Jr.; sister Tyra Henderson; nephew of Hilry (Marshal) Hunt, Jr., LaFanetta (Lawrence) Hunt-Jones, Suewan Trotter, Cynthia Johnson, Jackie Jenkins, and Charolette Adams; great nephew of Eugene Hunt and Geraldine Oliver-Antoine; partner of Matthew Cervoni and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Brahanie was proceeded in death by his father Ronald Adams, Sr., grandparents Hilry, Sr. and Bettie Hunt, James Sr. and Estelle Adams; brother Walter Adams; uncles Harold Hunt, James (Kid) Adams Jr., Reginald Adams, Alfred Jenkins, Louis Johnson and Ronald Trotter Jr.; aunt Gloria (Ronnie) Oliver.
Relatives and friends of the family, are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church, 1737 LB Landry Ave, New Orleans, LA 70114 on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 10:00 am.
