Brandie Ruttman, 48 year old Woodward resident, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
Brandie Bridgette (Swindle) Ruttman was born on July 4, 1976 in Odessa, Texas to Richard Wayne and Carilan Faye (Jones) Swindle. Brandie grew up in Odessa, Texas before the family moved to Woodward. She attended Cedar Heights Elementary, Woodward Middle School and graduated from Fargo High School. Brandie attended college and earned her Business Finance degree. She was united in marriage to Dustin Duane Ruttman on October 18, 1997 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward and were blessed with one son, Austin. Brandie worked for Bank 7 as a Bank Teller for many years.
She enjoyed farming, fishing, golfing, and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was always the life of the party, she never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome.
She is survived by her husband Dustin Ruttman of the home; son, Austin C. Ruttman; her mother Carilan Swindle; brothers: Richard Swindle, Jr and wife Angel of Woodward, Jonathan Hammitt and wife Christy of Thackerville, Oklahoma, Robert McElreath of Odessa, Texas; seven nephews, seven nieces, and three great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Brandie was preceded in death by her father Richard Wayne Swindle.
