Brandon came into this world the same way he left us, too soon. He was born early and fought to live. He was tenacious. If he put his mind to it, there was no stopping him.
As a child, Brandon gained notable skills and irreplaceable passions. Brandon had a passion for fishing, getting his hands in the dirt, anything motor or horsepower related, but most of all he had a passion for family.
Brandon was a gear head, always willing to help anyone with motor issues, he was a MacGyver of sorts, and could Jerry rig anything.
If there was a hotrod Brand cologne it would smell like dirt, engines, smoke, and gasoline. Brandon would use his gift of gab to keep you entertained while he wrenched. Sharing stories of childhood adventures of fishing with his dad, getting into mischief with his brother, and learning to love from his mother. Stories of how he began courting his wife, Chelsea in 2011 with love letters, literally feeding her, and building bonds with the boys.
Chelsea and Brandon married on October 24, 2014. Winning her heart and being married, never stopped him from shouting his love for her and those boys from the rooftops. He would tell anybody that would listen and even those that didn't. Their love was the perfect opposite match everything Brandon lacked, Chelsea made up for an vice versa
Brandon told stories of pure, tenacious survival. Brandon beat the odds more times than most. He survived wreck after wreck, being told he would never walk again. But that didn't stop him. With a mama Trolls advocacy and resources, his beautiful wife's support and patience, a family as big as the state; brothers and sisters from all walks of life cheering him on, but most of all his tenacity and will power. Brandon didn't just walk again he rode Brandon was known for having the biggest heart and love for family regardless of the differences. He was always there for family and friends. He was a man you could count on and his word was as good as gold.
Brandon is survived by his wife Chelsea; two sons Oriah and Cage; mother Linda; grandma Mary Erickson; uncle Richard (Debbie); brother Matthew (Taysha), Tykenzie, Dyllan, Tayelin, Braedyn; mother-in-law Joan; father-in-law Mark; sisters-in-law Emerald and Darcie; brothers-in-law Cole (Jessie) and Flint; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends. Along with all club brothers and sisters.
He is preceded in death by his father Steven "Weasel", grandfather Clarence Erickson, grandmother Betty, grandfather Norman, aunt Patty, uncle James and all of the fallen club brothers and sisters.
A celebration of life for Brandon will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024 with a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Steve Crites officiating at The Great Escape Bar & Grill in Menomonie, WI (2909 Bongey Dr, Menomonie, WI 54751) Additional parking will be available in the United Methodist Church Parking lot.
