Brandon Allen Ray, 29, of Middlebury, passed away peacefully at 7:01 am, on Friday, November 14, at home with family by his side. He was born on September 8, 1996, in Goshen. Surviving are his parents, Chuck and Chesica Cupp; two sisters, Chelsie Cupp, Jessica Williams; two brothers, Travis Cupp, Lucas Williams. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Christner, grandfather, Larry Gorbutt, grandfather, James Cupp, great-grandmother, Shirley Robinett, great-grandmother, Roxy Gorbutt, great-grandmother, Doris Galbin; uncle, Kenny Wagers; great-aunt, Elaine Lipscomb. Brandon loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. His favorite trips would often be going to Eby Pines for a weekend of family camping. Growing up, he enjoyed riding his bike, bowling, and encouraging people to laugh with his fun sense of humor. His family will dearly miss him and the great amount of love he brought to their life. There will be two hours of visitation prior to the 12:00 noon funeral service on Wednesday, November 19, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by close family friend Ben Meyers. Burial will be in Keightley Cemetery, Shipshewana. Online condolences may be offered at millerstewartfuneralhome.com.
