Brandy Foster Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Frederick Funeral Home on Aug. 19, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

In loving memory of Brandy (nee Hoepker) Foster, who was born on December 20, 1983, in Ft. Thomas, KY. Brandy was a beloved mother, cherished daughter, a favorite (and "best looking") cousin and a fiercely loyal friend. Brandy passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 41 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her journey, she remained a pillar of strength and positivity, never letting her struggles dampen her spirit. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, kindness, and resilience, leaving a lasting impact on her family and friends.

Brandy was the beloved daughter of Robert Hoepker and Kelly Wayman (Alan Lemmons), and the cherished mother of Bradyn McGaha and Brielle Foster. She created a nurturing and loving home, a true testament to the depth of her love for her family. As the granddaughter of Judy and the late Elliott "Jr." Herald and the late Charles and Alice Hoepker, Brandy carried forward the legacy of those who loved her most. She is survived by her many aunts and uncles, including Donnie Wayman, Ronda Smithson, Jenny Spencer (Charles), Steve Wayman, Dave "Pudd" Wayman (Jamie), Edith Waddell (Boyd), Michelle Bradford (Craig), along with numerous cousins, a few of which, were as close as siblings to her. Brandy was loved by everyone, including her stepdad, Sam "Samster the Hamster", who she adored. Brandy was blessed with many wonderful friends, and she truly cherished each connection. Those friendships were among her greatest treasures. However, nothing in this world compared to her deep love for her children, which will forever echo in their hearts and memories. Bradyn and Brielle are the two bright stars at the center of Brandy's world.

Brandy was a graceful spirit, radiating gratitude in the face of adversity. After bravely battling cancer for four years and 15 days, Brandy was quite the force, who never allowed her circumstances to dim her light. Brandy's vibrant spirit was contagious; she loved dancing (anywhere), playing bingo, gambling and trying her luck with scratch-off tickets. She had a passion for style and flare that was mirrored in her love for Designer handbags and shoes (especially Michael Kors).

In honor of Brandy's life, a visitation will be held at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, located at 822 York St, Newport, KY 41071, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Her family invites those who knew and loved Brandy to gather together to share memories and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to be made to the TriHealth Cancer Institute, 7777 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45245, in gratitude for the compassionate and exceptional care provided to her by Dr. David Draper and his dedicated team.

As we gather to remember Brandy, let us reflect on the immense love she gave and the beautiful memories she created. Her spirit will forever inspire us, and she will be missed dearly. Special condolences may be expressed at www.frederickfh.com
