Brandy Whitt Obituary
Brandy was born on August 12, 1978, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Otis Stapleton, Evelyn Whitt, and Robert Whitt; uncles, Ricky Stapleton, and Bob Stapleton; and her special friends, Kelly Tony and Mary Hutchins.
Brandy is survived by her mother, Deborah Whitt; father, James Whitt; daughter, Makenzie Whitt (Logan); fiancé, Justin Slone; grandmother, Norma Stapleton; sister, Becky Nickels; niece, Morgan Keesling (Devin); great niece, Wrenley Keesling; special family members, Gracie and Khiree Youngblood, and Libby Marshall; as well as several special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to Libby Marshall for the love, care and support over the last few months.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 – 12:30 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rick Whitten officiating. A graveside service will follow in procession to Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Va. with Danny Stapleton saying a special prayer. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
