Brandy Monique Woods (B-Baby) was born in Lake Charles, La on January 15, 1981 to Sylvia
Woods Thomas and Reginald Dugar. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1999. After
graduation she attended Remington College pursing a degree in Computer Science. Brandy (B-
Baby) became a faithful employee for Walmart for 14 years in Accounting. Brandy went on to
work for Medicare and Uber until her passing.
Brandy was loving and giving to her family. She was a big sister and confidant to all who loved
her. Brandy was the go-to person for everything and everybody. She spread love and joy
everywhere she went. She was a strong-willed young woman and did not care what anyone
thought of her. Brandy lived her life to the fullest and was always happy and laughing.
Family gathering were her favorite times. She was the Queen of dominos and Pitty Patt!!! Brandy
took everybody's money young and old lol. Oh and if you broke any rules you were not able to
play anymore.lol.
Brandy had many special relationships with her best friend/sister Tomlynn, her Aunt Jackie,
cousins; Tameka, Dinah, Misty, and Tatyana.
Brandy loved and spent lots of time with her God Children; Syni, Zoey, Jace, Cayden, Inaja,
Isaiah, Kristian, Chloe, and Coby playing games and making videos of them dancing.
On April 8, 2023, Brandy gained her heavenly wings and went to be with the Lord. She was
preceded in death by her grandparents; George Woods, Lawrence and Arkey Dugar and her
brother Reginald Wayne Petterway.
She leaves to cherish precious memories of her loving mother Sylvia Thomas and father Reginald
Dugar and brothers Jacques Woods (Angela), Terrance Thomas, sister Tionia Thomas Roberson
(Tony) and her only living grandparent Laura Mae Woods. Brandy had many cousins, aunts,
uncles, and friends she loved dearly.
