Eldon Beadle

July 30, 1934 - January 23, 2025

Houston, Texas - Eldon Lynn Beadle, age 90 born in Hastings Michigan. Beloved husband, Dad, Granpa, Uncle and friend. Graduated from Hastings High School 1952. Attended U of Dayton and Graduated in 1956 with a BBA degree. Employed by IRS 1956-1991 working in seven Michigan cities. Retired to Bradenton, Florida in 1991 and moved to Georgetown, Texas 2007. Preceded in death by wives Doris Sherman and Marion C. Barry and step son Ted Barry. Survived by wife JoNell Pohl, and step children Nancy Siddall, William Sherman, Mike Sherman-Beadle, Timothy Barry, and LeeAnn Wright.

Lynn loved sports and played baseball and a champion basketball star in high school. After retiring to Bradenton, FL, Lynn was an avid doubles tennis player 1991-2007 until forced to quit for health reasons. Lynn was a life-long fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers.

Lynn was a member of Chapel Hill UMC, Battle Creek, Clarkson UMC, Clarkson, MI, First UMC Kalamazoo, MI, Central UMC Muskegon, MI, Trinity UMC Bradenton, FL, First UMC Georgetown, TX, and St. Lukes UMC, Houston, TX. While living in Georgetown, TX, 2007 to 2013, Lynn delivered Meals on Wheels and volunteered at The Caring Place. Those wishing to honor his memory, please donate to Cancer Research.
