Brant Justin Farris, 51, of Macon, MO, was received into the arms of our Lord and Savior, after a long and courageous fight against cancer, on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Brant was born on February 21, 1974, to Earl and Ila Jean (Scheets) Farris. He married the love of his life, Christy Lynn (Pursifull) Farris on March 25, 2000 and to this union Logan and Morgan were born. Brant enjoyed spending his time with his wife, two children, and their two dogs. He was an avid collector, a computer genius, and most importantly, he didn't know a stranger. Brant was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Macon, serving there for many years with his family.
Brant is survived by his two children, Logan Farris and his wife Lydia of Hannibal, MO, and Morgan Farris of Macon, MO, his parents, Earl and Ila Jean Farris of Houston, MO, one brother, Eric Farris and his wife Sindy of Republic, MO, one sister, Vanessa Farris and her fiancé Rob Harrison Jr. of Jefferson City, MO, his grandmother Oneta Farris of Houston, MO, and many other nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christy on June 25, 2022.
A visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, followed by a funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Macon. A second visitation will be from 1-2 pm, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 27, 2025, at the First Christian Church in Houston, MO. Burial will be in the Pinetree Cemetery in Houston, MO. The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund.
