Braydin Perry

Funeral service for Braydin Emmanuel Perry, age 17, of Altus, Oklahoma, formerly of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the First Baptist Church, 201 E. Grand Avenue, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Dyke Crane MDiv, officiating.

Braydin passed away in Frederick, Oklahoma, on Monday, October 6, 2025, just six days after celebrating his 17th birthday. Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.

A wake will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the funeral home.

He was born on September 29, 2008, in Altus, Oklahoma. A senior at Altus High School, Braydin was known for his vibrant personality, respectful spirit, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him. Before moving to Altus, he spent most of his life in Frederick, Oklahoma, where he attended school and built lasting friendships that shaped who he became.

Braydin had a deep love for sports, especially basketball and football, and could often be found fishing, laughing, and hanging out with friends. He had a natural talent for music and dreamed of becoming a successful rapper one day. Those who knew him best will remember how his smile could light up a room, and how he always made time to help others, including his elderly neighbors, with genuine respect and care.

Braydin leaves behind his loving mother: Regina Cooper, of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; his birth mother: Ashley (Perry) Mosley, Houston, Texas; his older brother: Ashton Perry, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his older sister: Mykaijah Delouth, of Altus, Oklahoma; and his younger brothers: J. Ceon Perry and Ginoah Wilson, both of Altus, Oklahoma. He is also cherished by his grandfather: Floyd Johnson; aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his beloved great grandparents: Gerletha (Perry) Peppers, Carl Peppers, and Jack Perry.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Braydin's light will continue to shine through the lives he touched. His laughter, love, and joyful spirit will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
