Brena was born on January 17, 1992, in Schenectady, NY, to Deborah (Young) Parker and the late Thomas Parker. She was raised in Galway, NY and attended Galway Central School District. Afterwards, she spent her life dedicated to raising her four children. Brena moved to Anderson, South Carolina in 2019, where she began working for Dunkin Donuts. She was employed there for four years and worked her way up to a position as assistant manager.
Brena loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She enjoyed listening to music with her children and going out to eat with her sisters. Many knew her as a busy body because she was always on the move!
She was predeceased by her father Thomas Parker.
Brena is survived by her mother Deborah Parker; husband Daniel Morway; children Ceara Parker, Peter Mertens, Haley Mertens, and Abigail Morway; sisters Sherry Banks, Nickole Dopp, Deidre Brady, and Kate Parker; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Brena's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brena's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA by mail to 1232 NY State Highway 5S, Amsterdam, NY 12010 or online SUPPORT US | MC-SPCA.

Brena and I went to school together but I remember our friendship really starting in banana splits. I´m so so sorry for her family´s loss especially her babies and husband. Sending her entire family lots of love and prayers

I enjoyed being around Brena laughing and taking her places that she needed to go I enjoyed her company a very caring person and I love her very much I will miss her and she will always be thought of in my heart she was a good mom and a good wife we love you brena why hi Angel . Till we meet again love you
