Chad Everett Morway of Williamstown, Vermont, was born December 28th, 1973, in Berlin, Vermont. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 30th, 2025. He is the son of Peggy Bachelor of Williamstown, VT, and Ernest Morway of Montpelier, VT. Chad is survived by his children, Baylee (Morway) Fust of Kansas and her husband, Jake Fust. Breanna Morway of Moretown, and Chad Morway Jr, as well as his children by love, Jasmine Evans and Brenden Davison. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Theodore Fust, Evelyn Fust, Aspyn Evans, and Renley Evans. He is survived by his former life partner and soul mate, Holly Patterson, his siblings Christine Simon and her husband, Anthony Simon, of Spring Lake, NC, Chris Morway of Williamstown, VT, George Morway of Barre, VT, Sarah Pirie, and Tyler Morway. Chad is predeceased by his stepfather, Kerry Bachelor, his aunts Sally Fordham and Murial Davison, his uncles Doug Fordham and Gary Davison, his grandparents Edith and Stanley Fordham, and his sister Miranda Pirie. After high school, Chad joined the Army and served at Fort Bliss, TX, and Fort Drum, NY as an Artillery Soldier. He dedicated the majority of his life to linework. Chad's hobbies included fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, exploring the country, and enjoying a cold beer. He had a traveler's soul and never liked to stay put long. He was always up for a good time and brought a smile to anyone and everyones face. He was fiercely protective of his loved ones. One thing about Chad is that he was a pot stirrer and loved the drama, and you knew he loved you by how much he poked fun at you. Anyone who knew Chad loved him, and we were all so lucky to have this man in our lives. Calling hours will be held at Kingston Funeral Home in Northfield, VT, from 2 to 4 on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. Anyone who knew and loved Chad is welcome.
