Boonsboro, MD – Brenda Kay Clipp, 65, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at her home.
She was born on February 25, 1959, to the late Ronald Francis and Patricia Ann (Byers) Hays.
She was a 1977 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She was a Homemaker.
Brenda was a lifetime member of Manor Church of the Brethren Boonsboro, MD.
She was also a lifetime member of Community Vol. Fire Co. District 12 Fairplay, MD and Williamsport Vol. Fire & EMS. She was also a member of the VFW.
Brenda enjoyed playing bingo with her mother and grandmother and volunteering with various organizations. She bowled with the Early Birds for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Clipp whom she married on April 28, 1979; daughter Angie Peters and her husband Shannon of Hagerstown, MD; son Chad Clipp of Boonsboro, MD; daughter Stephanie Clipp and her boyfriend James of Boonsboro, MD; brother R. David Hays and his wife Teresa of Hagerstown, MD; sister Diana Hose and her husband Denny of Falling Waters, WV; numerous nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Manor Church of the Brethren Boonsboro, MD on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11:00 am with Pastor Allan Green and Chaplain Bob Fraley officiating. Interment will be in Manor Church Cemetery Boonsboro, MD.
