Brenda Lee Dingers, age 85, (1940-2025) of Avon, OH passed away on July 23, 2025, at Lake West Hospital. Brenda was quick with a smile and had an easy-going manner. She was born in Hyndman, PA where she completed her high school education before moving to Perry, OH. She met her husband of 52 years through her brother Roger Bowers. They were married June 17, 1961, and moved to Montville Ohio. She participated in the Ladies Auxiliary for the Montville Fire Department and enjoyed weekly social bowling time while raising 4 children on the small family farm. She also worked for 16 years as the Montville Township Clerk. She loved to read and worked on countless jigsaw puzzles.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Charles Dingers and her brother Roger Bowers. She is survived by her four children Susan (James) Tommer; Elizabeth (Martin) Flores; Daniel (Tracy) Dingers and Patricia (James) Carroll; and her grandchildren Terri (Dillion) Carr, Roy Switzer, Roberto Flores, Mateo Flores, Sara (Nicolas) Sertich and Ryan Dingers.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024 and Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin a 12:00 p.m. and following the interment at Montville Township Cemetery.
