Brenda Finger Obituary

Mrs. Finger was born in Clarkesville, GA, on September 5, 1947, daughter of the late Ray Lee Hammond and the late Opal Whitmire Hammond. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Karen Tolbert Finger, a grandson, Michael Ingram, and a brother, Donnie Hammond. Mrs. Finger was a graduate of Habersham High School. She retired from Rome Manufacturing where she worked as a seamstress for over 10 years. After her retirement, Mrs. Finger worked as a substitute teacher for primarily the Armuchee School District. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Finger was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, an amazing grandmother, and a loyal friend for life. While we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing she is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for eternity.
Survivors include her loving husband of over 50 years, Joe Finger, Rome; her son, Alan Finger, Rome; a grandson, Ben Ingram; her great-granddaughter and light of her life, Riley Hitchcock (Alex); nieces and nephews
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Randy Lambert will officiate.
