Brenda Gail Hulsey

Brenda Gail Hulsey was a life long resident of Jacksonville, AL, a retiree of Tape Craft in Piedmont, AL and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2025. She passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by love and prayers.
Brenda was married to her husband, Clarence, for 50 years. She was a proud and loving mother to Michelle Williams (Todd Williams) and Cheryl Hulsey, Special Nephew Daryl Smith, Maw-Maw to Megan Williams, Evonne Hulsey (Harrison Greene), and Great-Grandson, Jackson Crook.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Parris (Johnny), and brother, Sam Smith (Wanda), and preceded in death by her parents James and Betty Smith and brothers David and Tommy Smith. Brenda's heart extended far beyond her immediate family. She loved and cared deeply for many nieces, nephews, and countless others blessed to know her along the way.
Brenda lived a life that reflected her faith. She loved like Jesus, offering grace, kindness, and compassion to everyone she met. Her gentle spirit, steadfast strength, and warm hugs will be remembered forever. Although her homemade meals, laughter, and general comfort will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is walking with the Lord, whole and at peace, reunited with loved ones gone before her.
Family will receive visitors on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home in Piedmont, AL from 5-8pm.
