Brenda Hurtman Obituary
Services for Brenda R. Hurtman will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, 12:00 p.m., at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown with Bro. Ron Leonard officiating. Interment will follow at Toomsuba Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Hurtman, 75, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at her residence.
Brenda was a long-time waitress at the Red Hot Truck Stop, where she met many people. She was also an avid Alabama Football fan. However, she will be most remembered as a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, John Hurtman; children, Mechelle Smith, Shannon Dorman (Jason), James Margrave (Heather), Marshall Margrave, and Danielle Hull (Ben); numerous grandchildren; two great grandchildren on the way; brother, William Roberson (Jan); and many extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William James and Macie Lee McElhenney Roberson; and brothers, Sammy Roberson, Ricky Roberson, and Randy Roberson.
Pallbearers will include James Margrave, Ben Hull, Jacob Mullinax, David Seward, Davey Eckman, and Seth Dean.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
