Brenda K Jack

Brenda Kay (Mann) Jack, 66, of Herrin, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at her home in Herrin.
Brenda worked as a clerk at Publix Grocery Store in Orlando, FL. She also worked for Disney World in Orlando.
Brenda was former president of the Herrin American Legion Auxiliary.
What made Brenda stand out was her quick wit and straight-forward nature; you never had to wonder what she thought or felt. She would tell you; no hesitation. It was more than just being blunt- her words often carried wisdom, honesty and humor. Though she was direct, she was also incredibly generous. She'd go with out if it meant someone else had what they needed.
Brenda loved the sunshine and outdoors. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her many plants. She enjoyed nights spent at the lake camping and fishing with her family especially her grandkids. She loved spoiling her dog, Chotch.
Brenda was born June 21, 1959 in Herrin, IL to Lavern Mann and Mary Lee (Fox) Larimer.
Brenda is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Brandon & Stephanie Jack of Herrin and Chris Jack of Herrin; four grandchildren, Brody Jack, Brantley Jack, Abrahm Jack, and Karissa Jack; sister, Pam Carns of Wolcott, CT; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Becky Anderson; and brother, Paul Mann.
Brenda wishes were to be cremated; a celebration of life service will be at a later date.
