Brenda Jane Key, 68, of Weatherford, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, at her home. A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Burial will be private.
Brenda was born on February 9, 1953, in Paris, Texas, to Royce and Wanda Shipp. She worked as an Admin Assistant at Weatherford College for 32 years. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, doing mosaics, and flower gardening. Most of all, Brenda cherished time spent with her family.
Brenda is survived by her life companion, Paul Barnett; her daughter, Melissa Lunceford and friend, Russell Offringa; her grandchildren, Cheyenne Jones and Liberty Parnell; her great-grandchildren, Emmett Blodgett, Kyra Parnell, Quinlan Parnell, and Caelan Parnell; and by her sister, Vicki Hutchins, and her daughter, Callie Lambert.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be in Brenda’s name to Weatherford College.
