She was born March 23, 1955, in Greenup County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Hobert and Edna Davis Royster.
She was a member of Brushart Freewill Baptist Church and loved going to church. She enjoyed taking care of folks, spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Jack.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Austin Lowder.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Raymond Ken Lowder; one son, Kenneth Lowder of Greenup County, Kentucky; one daughter, Amanda Adkins of Greenup County, Kentucky; 2 grandchildren, Iven Shope, Johnothan Shope; 1 great-granddaughter, Rayanne Shope; two brothers, Homer Royster, Dale Royster both of Greenup County, Kentucky; two sisters, Virginia Burns, Debra Rhoden both of Greenup, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2025, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison, Kentucky, 103 Dudley Avenue, Garrison, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Grizzell Cemetery.
Globe Family Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the family of Brenda Ann Royster Lowder.
